During these unprecedented times, it is more important than ever that we stay connected with our pupils. We must be prepared for the possibility of groups of children having to self isolate or school bubbles being temporarily asked to stay at home. With this in mind, we have renewed our learning platform, Seesaw.
For more information, please see letter ‘ Seesaw Home Learning App ‘ which can be found in the parents section on this website.
In order to access Seesaw, you will need log on information for your child, which is available via contacting the school office or class teacher. Below is an example of the Seesaw app.
This tells you exactly how to access the website or App version of Seesaw (when downloading the App, make sure you choose the CLASS App!).
There is a built in scanner for the QR code provided in the App, but we recommend that you make a note of the code that is shown in point 3, as you will be able to use this if accidentally logged out, without having to return to the website to retrieve your details.
Once logged in, children should see a message from the Class Teacher! To contact them, children can click on ‘journal’ and then on the green ‘add’ button. The easiest way to keep in touch is by writing a note or sending a photo!
The Class Teacher will also set tasks in the ‘activities’ section. Children can respond directly to these with a note or photo (or try the drawing and video tools if feeling adventurous!).
We will be also using Seesaw to set weekly homework tasks even if all children are able to remain in school.
We look forward to hearing from you and once you are logged on, your teacher should be able to help with any further queries you may have!
Please note that Seesaw is GDPR compliant and by parents accessing login details and accessing the platform permission is assumed.
